    Lactation Support

    We can help with any lactation issues that come up including: trouble latching, sore nipples, fast letdown, low milk supply, chronic plugged ducts, infant not transferring enough milk and many others.

    Oral Function Assessment

    We are both trained in functional oral assessments and can help evaluate infants sucking patterns. We can help asses for tongue ties and identify possible other causes of oral function concerns.

    Emily is very experienced in helping mothers with pumping. We can help you identify the right pump for your needs, find comfortable flanges and maximize output.

    Combination Feeding Support

    Feeing with a combination of both breastmilk and formula is valid choice either by choice or by necessity. Understanding the mechanics of milk supply can help you to make more educated decisions in making a plan for combination feeding.

    Bottle Refusal

    Bottle refusal can be so stressful!! Infants are smart, they are usually refusing bottles for a reason and often it’s not as simple as finding the right type of bottle but more about figuring out why they are struggling with bottle feeding. We can do a full assessment and help you overcome this challenge.

    Support with Starting Solids

    Introducing solids is an exciting milestone for you and your baby! It can also be overwhelming and confusing. We can assist infants and parents with successfully transitioning to solids. We help take the guess work out of all of the questions; such as what, when, and how with a personal in home or virtual consultation. We help you determine safe and realistic expectations for starting solids. Positive experiences around mealtimes, food, and eating are vital for a child’s development and relationship with food.

    Complex Infant Feeding Support

    We can help support you with infant feeding regardless of how feeding currently looks for you and your child. Whether it is working on a new goal or just continuing to support your current plan Morgan has lot of experience helping families with medically complex infants navigate a variety of feeding struggles.

    Support for Feeding Concerns in Older Children

    Having a child who does not eat well can be overwhelming and concerning. This can be hard to live with and navigate. We specialize in assessing and treating all of the reasons why children won’t eat. We help assess a variety of complex feeding issues such as picky/selective eating, assisting with transitioning from tube feedings to oral feedings and with other medically concerning problems. We will help you find an evidence based feeding program that woks for the entire family. Our focus is to help you as the parent teach your child how to safely and effectively eat a wide variety of nutritious foods in order to support their best growth and development.

    Weaning

    If you have made it past a year breastfeeding and want to continue it can be challenging to find resources sometimes. Nursing toddlers can be wonderful, but also comes with a learning curve. We can help you wean from pumping at work while still breastfeeding, help you set boundaries and navigate when it’s time to wean fully.

    Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy

    Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy is a specialized program of exercises and habit retraining therapy designed to improve how the muscles of the tongue, lips, cheeks, and jaw work together. It focuses on establishing healthy oral habits that support efficient breathing, chewing, swallowing, speech, and proper tongue resting posture. Myofunctional therapy may be recommended before or after procedures such as tongue-tie release.
